J.S. Alder Property Maintenance was founded in 2021 by Jamie Alder, a skilled tradesman born and bred in Eton Wick, Windsor. With a career built on craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail, Jamie brings decades of hands-on experience to every project.

Jamie began his career with an apprenticeship at Pryor & Son in Windsor, Berkshire, where he developed a strong foundation in traditional building and maintenance skills. He then went on to work within the maintenance department at Eton College, further refining his expertise in maintaining high-quality, historic properties.

Following this, Jamie spent over 20 years as an expert shop fitter, working across major London travel hubs including Heathrow and Gatwick airports. During this time, he was responsible for delivering and maintaining high-end retail environments for globally recognised brands such as Hugo Boss, Prada, Watches of Switzerland, and World Duty Free. This experience instilled a meticulous approach, high standards, and an understanding of working to exacting specifications.
